Join us for 2026 New London Pride Activities!
History of Pride in New London
In 2023, Phoenix Brown, a 7th grade Junior Intern, organized a New London Pride parade all on their own. Last year, Phoenix joined the NLBP Education team as a student intern, and we expanded Pride together! This year, we formed a Rainbow Connections group as a way to connect through storytelling, mentorship, and LGBTQ+ theatre events. Several student leaders are stepping up to organize events this year! All events are family friendly!
PRIDE ON THE TOWN GREEN
Sunday, June 14
12:00–4:00 PM
Join us for speakers, performances, and snacks at the gazebo, followed by a New London Pride parade around town! We are seeking SPEAKERS, PERFORMERS, & VENDORS.
SPEAKERS: If you are a queer person in the area, we’d love to invite you to speak about your experience or share advice for young participants.
PERFORMERS: We hope to showcase performances of all kinds! Any act that’s under 5 minutes, appropriate for family audiences, and fits the pride theme is welcome.
VENDORS: If you are a baker or craft artisan (professional or hobbyist), we’d love to have you set up a table on the green! You keep your own profits.
If you’re interested in participating as a speaker, performer, or vendor, please sign up via the form below! Otherwise, no registration is required to attend.
