Katie is beyond thrilled to be returning to the beloved Barn after being part of the 2016 Acting Company. Serena loves her Barn. Past NLBP credits: 42nd Street (Dorothy Brock), Guys and Dolls (Adelaide), Pirates of Penzance (Mabel), She Loves Me (Amalia). A two-time New Hampshire Theatre Award winner, Serena has appeared Off-Broadway and on the national tour of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Other credits:Live from Here with Chris Thile on na- tional public radio, The Guthrie’s Dowling Studio, Chanhassen Dinner The- ater, 24 Hour Plays, Kennedy Center, Shadowland Theatre, Cape Rep Theatre. Serena resides in Minneapolis and her voice can be heard in national and regional commercials.

Anthony is a New York City based Director / Choreographer and is thrilled to be back at the Playhouse after Directing / Choreographing last season’s Murder For Two. He made his New York City directorial debut with Out of the Box Theatrics’ production of Jason Robert Brown’s Songs for a New World. Other regional works include productions of Sister Act, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, Mary Poppins, Million Dollar Quartet, The Little Mermaid and more. He recently served as the Associate Director on the National Tour of CHEERS! Live on Stage as well as the American Premiere of Grumpy Old Men, which will be making it’s West Coast Debut this fall. Anthony is a Resident Faculty member of The Growing Studio in NYC as well as serving as a Consultant / Director for numerous collegiate showcases. As a performer, Anthony toured the globe with Disney’s Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease, and was an original cast member of the World Premiere production of Disney’s High School Musical. Proud Associate Member of SDC. 


Scenic Designer

Julia is thrilled to be back up in New London. She was a part of the 2017 Acting Company. At the Barn: Sylvia, 2018 Alumni Cabaret, All Shook Up, Godspell, The Secret Garden, and West Side Story. Other credits include: Anne of Green Gables; A Musical (Hangar Theater) She Kills Monsters, The Duchess of Malfi (Ithaca Theater Collective), Into the Woods (The Patchogue Theatre). She is also a graduate of the BFA Musical Theatre Program at Ithaca College. 


Music Director/Keys

Originally from New Jersey, Kathleen has been a music director, pianist, and vocal coach for over 10 years. Kathleen is thrilled to be returning for her fourth season at the Barn!  She currently works throughout the Boston community, including Emerson College, Boston Conservatory/Berklee, and the North End Performing Arts Center. Kathleen has taught and performed throughout the US, as well as Germany and Austria. Recent credits: Regional: Billy Elliot (Seacoast Rep), Damn Yankees, Dames at Sea (Priscilla Beach Theatre) Anne of Green Gables (Weston Playhouse), Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, Annie Get Your Gun (Stage 284). Costume Designer

Ryan is very excited to make his return to the New London Barn Playhouse. Ryan is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia, and received his MFA in Scenic

Design from Indiana University. His recent designs include IU’s The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Urinetown the Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone and New London Barn Playhouse’s Dial “M” for Murder. He has just completed his second summer season as the properties charge artist at the Santa Fe Opera. Ryan otherwise lives and works as a

freelance scenic designer/artisan in New York City.

KEITH A. Emily is grateful to be back designing costumes at the Barn for another summer!  In past years she has worked as an intern, shop manager, and designer. Her favorite Barn productions include Steel Magnolias (2015), The Secret Garden (2017), and Little Women (2018). She received her MFA in Costume Design from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2018. She works at Bethany Lutheran College as an assistant professor and as the costume designer and shop manager.  When not designing, she loves spending time knitting and writing, and can’t wait to become a dog owner this fall. Love always to her family and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement.


Music Director

Robbie happily returns to the Barn for his 5th summer season! Productions he has music directed at the Barn have been awarded the Moss Hart award, New Hampshire Theater Awards for best professional production, and the New Hampshire theater award for best music direction. National Tours: Susan Stroman’s Bullets Over Broadway, Anything Goes, Elf at the Kennedy Center, Shrek, Damn Yankees. Off-Broadway: The Imbible: A Spirited History of Drinking and Day Drinking at New World Stages. Regional: Northern Stage, Ogunquit Playhouse, and many more. Last summer, the original musical revue show which he created and directed, The 4 Guys Who Sing, premiered on the Barn Stage. Educated at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Gonzaga University; born and raised in Anchorage, AK. Zack is a rising performer, educator, and composer on the current music scene. A recent alumnus of the Florida State University, Zack has worked with artists such as Ana Gasteyer (Saturday Night Live), John Clayton (Count Basie, Clayton-Hamilton Orchestra), Carmon Bradford (Count Basie), Steve Houghton (Chick Corea), and Gordon Goodwin (Disney, Warner Bros), and the Tallahassee Jazz Symphony Orchestra. Most recently, he has toured with NETworks production of Elf: The Musical, and was worked as a multi-instrumentalist for theaters such as The Palace (NH), The Tallahassee Theatre (FL), and the Interlakes Summer Stock (NH). After graduation, Zack was selected as the lead alto saxophonist for the 2017 Disneyland All-American College Band, and has since moved to downtown Boston as a full time performer. He currently serves as director of instrumental music at the Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts. 



Brandon is excited to be returning to the barn for his second summer! Brandon is a Brooklyn based freelance percussionist, drummer, and educator from Bartlesville, Oklahoma whose musical interests and areas of proficiency include classical percussion, musical theatre, contemporary chamber music, and steel pan. He frequently plays a variety of venues around the city including The Barrow Group Theatre and the Player’s Theatre, and performs with groups such as the Manhattan Wind Ensemble, New York Concert Artists and Associates, and CASYM Steel Orchestra. He earned his B.M. from the University of Oklahoma and his M.M. from New York University. 



N. Jennings White is very grateful to be making his New London Barn debut this summer after having visited previous summers to see his wife, Serena Brook, in shows. He is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and composer specializing on the horn and guitar. As a pit musician he has been heard in regional theatres across the United States and on the national tour circuit. Favorite past shows include the first national tour of Marvelous Wonderettes, Mary Poppins, Burnt Part Boys, Fiddler on the Roof, and La Boheme. Nick is also an accomplished composer. His music has been heard around the world including the St. Petersburg Conservatory in Russia, the Edvard Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway, and Carnegie Hall in New York City. He currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife and their cat. When not playing and writing music, Nick is an avid baseball fan (Go Rays!), and lover of Scotch Whisky.


Wig Supervisor & Designer

Briana is an I.A.T.S.E Local 798 Hair Stylist. Returning to the Barn after 3 years she is so excited to be designing for this female powered show. Some of Briana’s hair credits include 2015 Barn season, Broadway: Kinky Boots, Aladdin, Book of Mormon, Fiddler on the Roof, School of Rock and Mean Girls. TV: Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Fosse/Verdon, Plot Against America and she is currently working on the upcoming remake of West Side Story
