6-9 year olds: Ready, Set, PLAY!
This class will introduce the youngest age group to the fundamentals of acting. Confidence and friendships will flourish in this beginners' class for young aspiring performers. Theater games teach teamwork, encourage creativity, and provide a means for your child to find his or her individual voice in a new and exciting way.
10-12 year olds: Make a Scene!
Campers in this session will work on acting skills and will rehearse scenes in small groups for the final presentation. Theater games will develop improvisation skills and teamwork. Each young actor will work on his or her stage presence and build confidence as a performer.

Become a "triple threat"—acting, singing and dancing—in this fun weeklong musical theater camp! Participants will work on songs of their choosing as well as group numbers. Work on auditioning skills and stage presence!
10-12 year olds: The Play's The Thing!
Campers in this playwriting session will work on creating their own 10-minute play. Exercises will be introduced to inspire the young theater person, ensemble will be created and improvisations performed. This class will culminate in a performance of the students' plays featuring the NL Barn Acting Intern Company at 11 am on July 27th!

This weeklong session will focus on the basics of Shakespeare! Work on sonnets and scenes fling insults and create swordfights! Explore some of the best writing in the English language and improve your acting skills and stage presence.
Join two of our favorite Barn choreographers Sarah Case and Keith Coughlin (Last Season: Guys and Dolls and The Drowsy Chaperone) for an introduction to the dance styles and skills of big Broadway musicals! We'll start with the basics and dance the week away!

Work as a class to create a play based on The Lorax about how to help the environment and get a chance to perform it for a real audience on Saturday, August 11th! This session combines playwriting, performing and brainstorming about our planet!
10-12 year olds: Broadway Dance
Join two of our favorite Barn choreographers Sarah Case and Keith Coughlin (Last Season: Guys and Dolls and The Drowsy Chaperone) for an intermediate class on the dance styles and skills of big Broadway musicals! All you need are some dance basics and you'll be dancing 'till you drop!
